Castlebar Mitchels appoint new senior management team

Castlebar Mitchels GAA Club has appointed a new management team of its senior squad.

Barry Moran and Neil Lydon have been confirmed joint managers of the squad following the departure of Alan Flynn a number of weeks ago.

They played together in the Mitchels side that lifted three consecutive Mayo SFC titles from 2015 to 2017.

A meeting of the club's executive committee tonight ratified the appointments.

The members of the backroom team are Adrian Roche, James Mylett, David Joyce, Alan Feeney and Conor Waldron.
