Funeral of Castlebar woman who died in England

The funeral arrangements have been announced for Bernadette Jackson (née Hynes), Rochdale, Manchester, and formerly of Main Street, Castlebar.

A member of an old and respected Castlebar family, she died unexpectedly at Fairfield General Hospital, Bury, on Christmas Day.

Predeceased by her husband Bernard and baby daughter Amanda, she was daughter of the late Paddy and Peggy Hynes, Main Street, Castlebar.

Cherished mother of Graham, Colm and Marc, she is also deeply regretted by her daughter-in-law Sarah, sisters and brothers Marie, John, Barbara, Margaret, Duddy and Martin, sisters-in-law Yvonne and Fiona, brothers-in-law Mannix, Aidan, Kevin and Sahin, aunt Barbara Kilcullen, Castlebar, uncle Vincent O'Donovan, Dublin, nieces Grace, Ruth, Denise, Caoibhe, Aisling, Clodagh and Eva, nephews Conor and Shane, cousins, relatives, extended family and friends, to whom sympathy is tendered.

Requiem Mass takes place in St. Patrick's R.C. Church, Rochdale, Manchester, at 10 a.m. on Tuesday next, January 18. (It can be viewed online, link to follow).

Burial takes place afterwards in Rochdale Cemetery.
