Mairead Da Silva (née Philbin), January 12 2022, of Castletown, Leixlip, peacefully, surrounded by her family and in the loving care of the staff at Elm Ward, Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

Beloved wife of Manuel, mother to Carlos, Artúr, Ana, Tadhg, Sara, and Sadhbh, grandmother to Eleanóra, and sister to Sean and wife Phil, the late Tadhg and Catriona. Deeply missed by her loving family and relatives, carers and friends. Reposing at home on Friday, January 14, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Removal to the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14, on Saturday morning, arriving for 11 a.m. Mass, followed by burial in Carracastle Cemetery, Carracastle.

Thomas (Beano) Fox, Morrison Terrace, Ballina. Suddenly at the family residence.

Deeply regretted by his sons, Daniel, TJ., Jack and Paul, by his mother Barbara, father Peter, brothers, Paul, Liam, Alan, John, Michéal, Kieran and Barry, his sisters, Caroline and Alison, in-laws, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the family residence on Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Funeral cortège will leave the family residence on Saturday morning at 11am to arrive to St Muredach's Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 11:30 a.m. with burial afterwards to Leigue Cemetery, Ballina. Funeral Mass will be live streamed at www.ballinaparish.org

BERNADETTE JACKSON, CASTLEBAR

Bernadette Jackson (née Hynes) of Castleton, Rochdale, Greater Manchester and formerly of Main Street, Castlebar.

Unexpectedly at Fairfield General Hospital, Bury, on Christmas Day, December 25, 2021.

Predeceased by her husband Bernard and baby daughter Amanda. Beloved daughter of the late Paddy and Peggy Hynes, Main Street, Castlebar.

Cherished mother of Graham, Colm and Marc and mother-in-law of Sarah. Requiem Mass in St Patrick's R.C. Church, Rochdale, Manchester at 10 a.m. on Tuesday followed by burial afterwards in Rochdale cemetery.

PATRICK JOSEPH KEANE, BALLINA

Patrick Joseph Keane of Beeston Leeds, formerly of Shanaghy, Ballina. Peacefully at home in the presence of his loving family after short illness.

Predeceased by his son Michael, Parents Jenny and Henry, brother and sister-in-law Frank and Mary, niece and great nephew Nicola and baby Henry. Deeply loved and sadly missed by his loving wife Betty, daughters Donna, Louise, Gillian and Joanne, sons-in-law, and six grandchildren. In Ireland by his brother John sisters Mary, Evelyn and Ursula, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Paddy is resting at Hughes Funeral Home, Leeds and will be brought to church at 6pm on the 27th January 27. Requiem Mass on January 28 at 1 p.m. followed by burial at Cottingley Cemetery, Leeds.

JOHN O'BRIEN, CASTLEBAR

John O’Brien, Springfield Court, Moneen, Castlebar and formerly of Ballysaggart, Lismore, Co. Waterford and London – peacefully at Galway University Hospital.

Reposing at Kilcoynes Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Saturday evening from 6 p.m. until 7.30 p.m. Arriving to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Sunday for Funeral Mass at 1.30 p.m. Burial afterwards in the new Cemetery.

MARY SHERIDAN, SHRULE

Mary Sheridan (née Heneghan), Dr. Mannix Road, Salthill, Galway and Shrule, passed away peacefully at home in the loving care of her daughters.

Beloved wife of the late Jack and much loved mother of Andrea, Imelda and Antoinette. Predeceased by her brothers Jackie, Louis, Fursa and Tony and by her sisters Imelda and the very recently deceased Hilda.

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her daughters, sons-in-law Dermot, John and Brendan, her adored grandchildren Weston, Alan, Daragh, Jack, Alex and Georgia, great-grandchildren Isaac, Clodagh and Eloise, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Mary on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Funeral after Mass to Rahoon cemetery. House private please. Family flowers only. Donations if preferred to the Galway Hospice Foundation.

Joan Gibney Melly of Bohernasup, Ballina, Strandhill, Co. Sligo and late of Convent Road, Claremorris.

Joan, predeceased by her parents Alphie and Mell Gibney.
