MARGARET MCGUIRE, KILLALA

Margaret McGuire (née Walsh), Cortoon, Killala, peacefully, at home.

Predeceased by her husband Johnny, her sons Gerry and Michael, her granddaughters Sarah and Jackie, and her brothers Martin and Mickey. She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family; sons Patrick, Paul, Brendan, Ray, Kevin, Vincent, and David, daughters Mary, Ann, and Martina; sisters Mary Ellen, Bridgie, Kathleen, and Annie Mae; brothers William and Tommy; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

A cherished mum to her children and deeply loved granny to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, rest in peace Margaret. Reposing at her home on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 noon in St Patrick's Church, Killala, followed by burial in Killala Cemetery.

CAROLINE RUSSELL SCARR, NEWPORT

The death has occurred peacefully of Caroline Russell Scarr Rockfleet Lodge, Newport.

Reposing at St Dominick's Funeral Home Newport on Monday evening from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock with removal on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock to Shannon Crematorium for private cremation at 12 o'clock. Donations to Mayo Hospice, Castlebar.

MARY KELLY, SWINFORD

Mary Kelly (née Dolan) Cloonfinish, Swinford and formerly of Corlough, Co. Cavan - in the loving care of the wonderful staff of Mayo Hospice, Castlebar.

Predeceased by her husband Kevin. Deeply regretted by her sister Nonie (USA) and brother Patrick Dolan, sons Michael, Kevin and daughter Dawn, son-in-law Dermot, daughter-in-law, Evelyn, Jacqueline, her 11 adored grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

NORA MCLOUGHLIN, STRAIDE

Nora McLoughlin (née Howley) (N.T.), Carrowmore Meadows, Knock, and formerly of Gentian Hill, Salthill, Galway and Gurteens, Straide.

Nora passed away peacefully in her 93rd year, following a short illness, surrounded by her family and in the wonderful care of The Queen Of Peace Nursing Home, Knock.

Predeceased by her husband Tommy, sisters and brothers.

Sadly missed by her daughters Maria, Evelyn and Riana, son Michael, daughter-in-law Sharon, son-in-law Maurice, grandsons Calum, Oscar, Eoin and Milo, granddaughter-in-law Anita, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, including her lifelong friends Kay Mullarkey and Nora Heffernan.

Reposing at the Marian Funeral Home Knock (F12 A726) on Sunday evening from 6 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Walk through only no handshaking please.

Removal from funeral home on Monday morning at 11 o’clock (via Carrowmore Meadows) to arrive at The Church of The Holy Family Mervue, Galway for Mass at 1 o’clock. Burial afterwards in Rahoon Cemetery.

JODY SCULLY, CASTLEBAR

Jody (Joseph) Scully, January 21, 2022, 40 Mc Hale Road, Castlebar, peacefully, at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by his daughter Joanne, his parents Peter and Elizabeth, brothers Kevin, Paddy, John, Pete and Frank, sisters Teresa and Josephine.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife of 54 years, Marie, sons Peter, Paraic, Joe, Eddie, Dave, John and Frank, sister Breege Mullins (Carrickmacross), daughters-in-law, Lynda, Paula, Sinead, Deirdre (Foy), Deirdre (Heneghan), Noreen and Amanda, sister-in-law, Angela Gormley, grandchildren, Ethan, Laura, Ava, Kevin, Conall, Catherine, Beth, Joseph, Emily, Oran, Katie, Shane, Megan, Emma and Zoe, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Remains reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home this Sunday at 5 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to his residence in Mc Hale Road. Removal from his residence on Monday morning at 10.30 a.m. (via Spencer Street) for Funeral Mass at 11.30 a.m. in the Church of The Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Jody will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar Old Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Laura Lynn Foundation.
