Mayo addiction centre featured as Mercy Sisters embrace world of podcasting
Six Mercy Sisters from the Western Province, Ireland have embraced the world of Podcasting.
Drawing from their various life experiences as teachers, social workers, doctors and counsellors, as well as being Mercy Sisters, these women tell their life-stories through a prism of Mercy.
Over the course of their lives, which have taken them on remarkable journeys, and indeed many highs and lows, the sisters reveal their stories of hope and perseverance in their chosen fields.
They speak in detail about how the Charism of Mercy has enfolded in their journeys and how many of them have embraced new ways of living out their vocations, and of engaging with the world in the 21st Century.
Sr. Margaret McHale; Sr. de Lourdes Fahy; Sr. Máirín Ní Mhurchú; Sr. Dr. Marian Dolan; Sr. Attracta Canny; Sr. Dolores Duggan, share one thing in common - their true devotion to the Mercy Vision in the modern world.
The following is the podcast by Sister Attracta Canny and Sister Dolores Duggan on Hope House Addiction Centre, Foxford.
