Mayo community in mourning over passing of Martin Boyce
Warm tributes being paid to the deceased
The death has occurred suddenly at his residence of Martin Boyce, 7 Ashwood, Breaffy Road, Castlebar, and late of Limavady, Co. Derry.
Predeceased by his mother Jean Boyce, he is deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Helen (née Walsh, Keenagh), daughter Caoimhe and son Senan, father William, sisters Valarie, Mary and Tracey, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, mother-in-law, father-in-law, neighbours, relatives and friends, to whom sympathy is tendered.
Many warm tributes have been paid to the deceased on the condolences page of the death notices website, RIP.ie.
"I worked with Martin for many years in Westport. He was a great colleague and many great chats and craic we had along the way. May he rest in peace," one mourner stated.
"Martin was a great team member, technically brilliant and helpful to anyone who needed his assistance," another tribute said.
A further tribute outlined: "He was great company, always engaging, one of the good guys who loved his family dearly and who ploughed his own path in life. He will be greatly missed."
Remains will be reposing at his residence in Ashwood, Breaffy Road (F23 AH34) on Friday evening from 4 to 7 p.m.
Removal from his residence on Saturday morning at 11.30 a.m. for Requirm Mass at 12 noon in Saint Aloysius Church, Breaffy.
Martin will be laid to rest afterwards in Breaffy Cemetery.
