The death has occurred of Peter Hunt, 20 Glenview Drive, Monaghan. Eldest son of the late Denis and Mary Hunt, Brackloon, Carracastle, and retired Detective Garda Sergeant, Sunday, February 6, suddenly, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Deeply regretted and remembered with love with his heartbroken wife, Della, children, Finola (Wayne), Denis, Caroline (Ronan), Emma and Julie (Martin), granddaughter Alannah, brothers Tom, Frank and Gerard and the wider family circle.

BERNADETTE JENNINGS, KNOCK

Bernadette (Bernie) Jennings (née O'Dowd), Wingfield, Knock, suddenly at her residence.

Predeceased by her parents Johnny and Jenny and her sister Mary. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Thomas, daughter Siobhán, sons Kieran and Padraig, her adored grandchildren Emma, Saoirse, Lucy and Paddy, daughters in law Karan, Bryana, Aunt Pauline, sister-in-law Anne, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at the Marian Funeral Home, Knock (F12 A726), on Tuesday evening from 5.30 p.m. until 7 p.m. No hand shaking, please. Funeral arriving at The Church of St. John the Baptist, Knock, on Wednesday for Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

ANN KING, CASTLEBAR

Ann King (nee Cannon), February 5, 2022, Fortfield, Castlebar and late of Cornagushlane, Islaneady, suddenly, at her residence.

Predeceased by her son Jason, parents Greta and Paddy Cannon. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Des, son Desmond, daughter Barbara, granddaughter Jessica and son–in-law Paul, sister Mary, brothers Martin and John, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Remains reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home Monday at 9.45 a.m. with removal at 11 a.m. for Funeral Mass at 11.30 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar. Ann will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery. Please adhere to the current Covid-19 guidelines including social distancing, wearing of face masks and no hand shaking.
