Radiohead tribute act make trip to Mayo on Friday

Karma Police – a tribute to Radiohead – will be performing live at The Ruby Room of the TF Royal Theatre, Castlebar, this Friday night (February 11).

Delving deep into the back catalogue of the cult anthems that shaped a generation, Karma Police deliver authentic, note for note live renditions of Radiohead's most acclaimed and beloved songs.

Covering the band's entire career, from 1993's Pablo Honey up to and including 2016's A Moon Shaped Pool, Karma Police – a six piece band made up of some of the most in-demand session musicians – perfectly recreate the best of Radiohead, playing anthems like 'Creep', 'High and Dry', 'Fake Plastic Trees', 'Paranoid Android', 'Street Spirit (Fade Out)', 'Pyramid Song', '15 Steps' and many, many more.

Formed in 2019, the band members having previously worked with a variety of artists, such as Prince, Paul Brady, Glen Hansard, Damien Dempsey, Sinead O'Connor, Picture This, James Vincent McMorrow, Villagers, Jack L, Gerry Fish and Cathy Davey.

Karma Police offer an incredible tribute to Radiohead, a live music experience that perfectly encapsulates the raw energy, power and excitement of a Radiohead show.

Support on the night comes from local Castlebar band Powderhouse, who have being working hard on new music since the release of their debut EP, The Predecessor, in early 2020.

Doors open at 9 p.m. and the show begins at 9.30 p.m. sharp. Tickets for the event will be available on the door. For further information, visit www.finbarhobanpresents.com.
