Good news for Mayo primary school

A Mayo TD has confirmed that project approval for one new classroom, two SEN rooms and a bathroom has been confirmed for Lisaniska National School, Knockmore.

Deputy Dara Calleary stated: "I am delighted for school principal Aisling Hopkins, her board of management, staff and pupils and glad to have assisted in securing the approval from the Department of Education and Minister Norma Foley.

"This is welcome news for the school community and will greatly enhance the facility."
