€12,500 funding for Mayo People of the Year Awards

MAYO County Council's funding commitment towards the annual Rehab Mayo People of the Year Awards has been confirmed.

An allocation of €12,500 has been included in the council's budget this year.

The query was posed by Councillor Ger Deere who asked if the council was going to continue its support of the awards this year.
