EVELYN McGOUGH, CASTLEBAR

Evelyn McGough (née Tighe) Mountgordon, Castlebar, and formerly of Creevagh, Lacken, has died peacefully at the Mayo Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her loving husband Peter, brother John, sisters Mairéad and Kathleen and parents Kathleen and Rodger, she is survived by her sons and daughters John (Galway), Peter (Castlebar), Mary Henry (Ballyheane) and Patricia (Castlebar), grandchildren Ciara, Jason, Stephen and Shawn, great-grandchild Darren, son in law Declan, niece Ann Marie, nephew Rory, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Coady Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5.30 to 7 p.m.

Removal from Coady's Funeral Home on Wednesday at 1.30 p.m. to the Church of The Holy Rosary for Requiem Mass at 2 p.m..

Funeral afterwards to the New Cemetery, Castlebar.

THOMAS McNAMARA, ACHILL

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tom) McNamara, The Boley House, Keel, Achill Island.

Tom will be lovingly remembered by his children Annette, Michael, Mary and Noreen, daughter-in-law Margot, sons-in-law, Noel, Anthony and Brendan, grandchildren, John, Claire, Owen, Aoife, Sinéad, Clodagh, Méabh and Diarmuid, sister Anna (New Jersey), brothers-in-law, Paul (New Jersey) and Mick (Chicago), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Tom was predeceased by his wife Úna, sisters Noreen and Molly, brothers Fr. Michael and John

Reposing at the Boley House Keel on Tuesday evening from 4 until 7 p.m.

The funeral procession will be leaving Tom's home, the Boley House, at 10.30 a.m. on Wednesday morning to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Pollagh, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 a.m. with burial afterwards in Slievemore Cemetery.

SHEILA MURPHY, DUBLIN AND CASTLEBAR

Sheila Murphy (née McGuinness), Del Val, Bayside, Dublin, and formerly of Milebush, Castlebar, passed away peacefully at Beaumont Hospital.

Beloved wife of Bernard and devoted mother of the late Caroline, she is very sadly missed by her loving family: son-in-law Conor O’Brien, granddaughters Lauren and Florence, sister Bridget, brother Gerard, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Removal on Monday, March 21, to the Church of the Resurrection, Bayside, arriving for 11 a.m. for Funeral Mass followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.

EILEEN MARY CASEY, BALLINA

Eileen Mary Casey (née Kinhart), Manchester, England and formerly of Ballina.

She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family, aged 84 years.

Beloved wife of the late John Casey, formerly of Galway Road, Roscommon town, Eileen was a much loved mum by all her 10 children and she was adored by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be forever loved and missed for all eternity by her family, her extended family and by her friends.

ANNE GROARK ADAMS, CHICAGO AND TOURMAKEADY

Anne Groark Adams, Chicago, USA, and formerly of Rialto, Dublin, and Tourmakeady.

Beloved wife of Maurice, cherished mam of Anne-Marie, loving daughter of the late Ellen and Michael and much loved sister of Catherine, Tommy, John, Una, Philip, Philomena, Padraig and Josephine and the late Evelyn, Bridget, Maureen and Michael.

Anne will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her loving husband, daughter, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, her husband Maurice’s cousins, extended family both here and Chicago, neighbours and friends, especially her four-legged pal Shilow.

Anne’s Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 1.30 p.m. in Church of Our Lady of Fatima, Rialto, followed by burial in Newlands Cross Cemetery.
