Mayo minor camogie team in All-Ireland final action this weekend

The Mayo minor camogie team have reached the All-Ireland Minor C final for the second year in a row.

Mayo enjoyed an emphatic win over Tyrone in the semi-final in Cavan last weekend.

In a match where they showed their strength and skill, Mayo surged ahead in the first half, putting four goals and two points on the board.

Tyrone didn't remain scoreless, having two points accumulated by the half-time whistle.

The second half followed much the same pattern as the first. Tyrone managed to add four points to their tally but Mayo were very focused on attaining their place in the final and scored another three goals goals and five points to win on a 7-7 to 0-6 scoreline.

Mayo's opponents in Sunday's final will be Wicklow, who overcame Cavan by 4-11 to 1-4 in their semi-final last weekend.
