24 apartments planned for Mayo town centre

PLANS for an apartment development at the Bank Corner in Claremorris town have come before Mayo County Council.

The project involved the demolition of three houses on James Street, single storey extension and garage on Ballindine Road and all associated outbuildings, partial demolition and redevelopment of the existing three-storey building to comprise four one-bed apartments and two two-bed apartments (protected structure).

Also included in the proposal is the construction of 18 one-bed apartments and three two-bed apartments, with all ancillary site works and services.

The development address is The Bank Corner, James Street, Ballindine Road, Clare, Claremorris.
