€500,000 EuroMillions lottery win in south Mayo

EuroMillions players in the Knock and Claremorris areas are being urged to check their tickets carefully after a player scooped the top prize of €500,000 in last night’s EuroMillions Plus draw.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at Centra, Knock.

The winning numbers for Friday’s EuroMillions Plus draw were: 03, 19, 22, 33, 35.

The Mayo winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe.

They should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.

National Lottery players in Mayo have enjoyed a number of big wins so far this year.

Last night’s €500,000 EuroMillions Plus win marks the third largest win for National Lottery players in Mayo so far this year.

This follows the record-breaking €19.06 million Lotto jackpot that was won in Castlebar on January 15.

A Mayo family syndicate scooped the top prize of €1 million in the 2 p.m. Daily Million draw on March 1.

Meanwhile, as there was no winner of last night’s astonishing €30,608,285 jackpot, Tuesday’s EuroMillions jackpot is set to roll to an estimated €40 million.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language.

In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 34 years ago. In 2021 alone, €289 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
