Death of Castlebar woman in Galway is deeply regretted

The death has occurred of Adrienne (Aideen) O'Reilly, Dun na Carraige, Salthill, Galway, and formerly of Newport Road, Castlebar.

Predeceased by her parents Jimmy and Molly O'Reilly, she died very peacefully in the wonderful care of her niece Louise and friends Martina, Bridget and Tina.

She will be greatly missed by her sisters Anne, Tish and Catherine and brother Frank, her extended family and her many friends, especially her good friend John, to whom sympathy is tendered.

The deceased was a lecturer in Italian at NUI, Galway, where she was held in very high regard by students and colleagues.

A member of a popular family, news of her passing is deeply regretted in her native town.

Her remains will be reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway, on Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m.

Requiem Mass for Adrienne takes place at 11 a.m. at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill, on Friday, followed by Committal Service.
