MARY MCCALDIN, BALLYHAUNIS
Mary McCaldin (née Hughes), Laurel Park, Newcastle, Galway. Formerly of Ballyhaunis.
Mary passed away peacefully at University College Hospital, Galway in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Michael’s Ward following exceptional care and support received at the Galway Hospice.
Beloved wife of the late Keith and much-loved mother of Maeve, David and Grace. Mourned and sadly missed by her children, sons-in-law Helmick and Gary, her adored grandchildren Adam, Ruby, Gemma, Leah, Luke and Aaron, sisters Nuala, Anne, Patricia and Ríona, brother-in-law Matthew, her many nieces and nephews in particular Susanne and Aislinn , the extended Mc Caldin and Hughes family, many great friends, past colleagues and friends at NUIG.
A ’Walk-Through’ system will be in place for Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue H91VIK8 on Friday, 1st April from 4.30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Requiem Mass for Mary will be celebrated on arrival at St. Columbanus Chapel (H91 N6Y6) off Distillery Road at NUI Galway on Saturday, at 10 a.m..

JAMES TRAVERS, CLAREMORRIS
James (Jimmy) Travers, Kilbeg, Brickens, Claremorris. Peacefully, at Mayo University Hospital, after a short illness.
Predeceased by his parents Catherine and James and his sister Cait Connaire. Deeply regretted by his sisters Winnie (Limerick), Mary (Castlemagarrett), Christina [Ballina], Theresa (Dublin), Cora (Kilbeg), Patricia (Cavan), his brothers Michael [Dublin), John (Kilbeg), Hugh (Galway), nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Donnellan's Funeral Home, Clare Street, Ballyhaunis, on Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral will arrive to St Therese's Church, Brickens, on Saturday for funeral Mass at 12.30 p.m., with burial afterwards in Tulrahan Cemetery. MARTIN BURKE, KILMAINE
Martin Burke, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, late of Phibsborough and Kilmaine. Peacefully in his 100th year.
Martin, beloved husband of the late Rose; loving father of Éamon and Pat. Sadly missed by his sons, daughters-in-law, Marie Thérèse (Tracey) and Dolores, adored grandchildren Daniel, Aoife, Patrick, Claire, Martin and Alanna, great-grandchildren Evelyn, Oísin, Ted and Bobby, his extended family especially Caitríona and Rob as well as his many friends.
Reposal Thursday in Quinn’s of Glasthule from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Martin’s Funeral will take place on Friday, in St. Peter's Church, Phibsborough at 10.30 a.m. and can be viewed online at https://www.churchservices.tv/phibsboro followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.
PHYLLIS LONERGAN, BALLINA
Phyllis Lonergan, Corcoran terrace, Ballina. Peacefully, at her residence, in the loving care of her son Alan.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Cyril, parents Patrick and Letetia, her siblings Peggy, Gerry, Robert, Vera, Paddy, Helen, Frank, Eamon, Ann and Doris. Deeply regretted and dearly missed by her loving sons Alan and John, daughter-in-law Dodie, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at McGowan's funeral home, Ballina, on Friday evening from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral cortège will arrive to St. Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina, on Saturday morning for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am with burial afterwards to Leigue Cemetery. MARY TERESA O'BRIEN, SWINFORD
Mary Teresa O'Brien (née McNulty), Deerpark, Kilkelly Road, Swinford and formerly of Esker, Swinford. Peacefully at her residence.
Mary T. will be sadly missed by her loving husband John, brothers Paddy and James, sister Veronica, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and extended family.
Funeral Mass will take place in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Swinford at 12 noon on Thursday prior to burial in Kilconduff Cemetery.
