Mayo hit by another injury blow ahead of championship

Mayo have been hit by another injury blow ahead of the Connacht SFC quarterfinal against Galway on April 24.

Reports are indicating that midfielder Jordan Flynn will be ruled out of the game with a serious ankle injury.

He incurred the injury during last Sunday's National League final defeat to Kerry and was immediately substituted and received medical treatment.

Goalkeeper Rob Hennelly is already ruled out of the Galway game after undergoing keyhole surgery on his knee as is Brendan Harrison.

Diarmuid O'Connor, Oisin Mullin, Paddy Durcan and Eoin McLaughlin are all facing battles against time to be fit for the encounter at Hastings Insurance McHale Park.
