Has Mayo ewe set a record?

PATRICK Egan from Co. Mayo may have a record he didn’t know.

Patrick is pictured on his farm in Kilgarriffe, Ballyhaunis, with a very special ewe who has just given birth to four lambs this week.

The ewe has given birth to 15 lambs in four years with three sets of quadruplets and one set of triplets.

Question is, is this a record?
