MARY FORKIN, BALLAGHADERREEN

Mary (Mae) Forkin (née Towey), Derrinabruck West, Cloontia, Ballymote, Co. Sligo, peacefully at home, in the tender loving care of her family in her 92nd year.

Predeceased by her husband Michael, her grandson Eoghan, brother James Francis (Reading), sister Kathleen Cassidy (Clegernagh). She will be very sadly missed by her loving family, her children Mary-Geraldine (Keash), Sean, Micheal, Peter (Tubbercurry) and Kathleen (Galway), sons-in-law Tony and Michael, daughters-in-law Catherine and Ann, grandchildren Antoinette, Martin, Bernadette, Shane, Michelle, Laura, Ciarán, Éabha, Ronan, Ciara and Sinead, her sisters Sheila Cahill (England) and Irene Skehill (England), nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

Mae will lie in repose in The Kilgarriff Funeral Home Ballaghaderreen, Sunday evening from 5 o'clock with removal at 7 o'clock to arrive at the Church of St John the Baptist & Colman Derrinacartha at 8 o'clock

Mass of the Resurrection Monday at noon with burial afterwards in Carracastle Cemetery.

JOHN KERRIGAN, CLAREMORRIS

The death has occurred, peacefully after a short illness, at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar, on 23rd April 2022, of John Kerrigan, better known as Johnny, Parks, Clogher, Claremorris. Predeceased by his parents Martin and Mary Kerrigan nee Walsh, (Parks, Clogher) and his brothers Martin James (Lower Parks, Clogher) and Tom (Manchester). Dearly loved husband of Maureen nee Meeneghan and loving father of Michael (Parks), Phil Roper (Carnacon), Ann Jordan (Killawalla) and Bridie Heneghan (Ballintubber). He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Anne, sons-in-law Tony, Peter and Sean, nephew Neil, niece Finola, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Johnny will lie in repose at Carnacon Community Centre on Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. followed by private removal to his home. The funeral will arrive at St. Mary's Church, Carnacon on Tuesday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Afterwards Johnny will be laid to rest in Ballintubber Abbey Cemetery.

MARGARET MCKEOWN, BALLYVARY

Margaret McKeown (née Connolly), Currane, Ballyvary, and formerly of Deryliden, Scotstown, Monaghan and Fallowfield. Manchester, peacefully at home surrounded by her adoring family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy, brothers Michael, Eddie, Jimmy and sister Sadie. Very sadly missed by her heartbroken family sons Michael, Tony and daughter Annemarie, daughters-in-law Mary and Anita and Ann Marie's partner Adrian, grandchildren Rebecca, Natasha, Abbie, Padraig, Aoife and AJ., sisters Claire and Kathleen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her home Sunday evening from 6 o'clock to 8 o'clock. Funeral Mass in St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Straide, on Monday at 1 o'clock, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

ETHAN NORMAN, BALLINA

Ethan Norman, Cluain Na Rí, Ballina.

Peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Ethan, sadly missed by his heartbroken mother Bernadette, Sylvie, brothers, sisters, grand parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, friends and all who has been a big part of his life carers and all his friends in St. Nicholas’s school.

Reposing at his Residence on Sunday evening from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. for family and close friends. Funeral will arrive to St Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina, on Monday morning for Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m. with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.ballinaparish.org

WERNER THIES, BALLINA

Werner Thies, Summerhill Cottage, Rathfran, Carrowmore-Lacken; and formerly of Berlin.

Predeceased by his wife Gaby, sadly missed by his son Patrick, granddaughter Alice, sister Ursula, daughter-in-law Natascha, he will be mourned by his family, relatives , many friends and neighbours.

Private cremation to take place, followed by a memorial service at a later date, which will be announced on Werner's Facebook page.

THOMAS BIRMINGHAM, IRISHTOWN

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tom) Birmingham, Meelick, Irishtown and formerly Ballinross, Cloonfad, Co. Roscommon peacefully in the Mayo Hospice, Castlebar.

Beloved husband of the late Mary Julia (née Ruane) and predeceased by his sisters Kitty, Bridie, Margaret and Carmel. Very sadly missed by his heartbroken family; sons Tony, Tommy, Brendan, daughters Patricia (Gibbons), Marie (Carney), sons-in-law Gerard and Kevin, daughters-in-law Rosaleen and Anne, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beloved brother of Seamus, Eddie, Owen and Ellen, Teresa, Philomena, Hannah and Mary. Deeply mourned by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Mass took place at the Church of the Holy Family Irishtown, with burial in Irishtown Cemetery.
