Construction set to start on east Mayo amenity park

CONSTRUCTION work is set to start on a new park in Kiltimagh.

The Kiltimagh Amenity Park Committee has announced that the contract for the construction of Emigrant Park has been awarded to local contractor Kevin Mulderrig.

Work on the park will commence in the next two weeks.

On its social media, the committee expressed thanks to all who have helped the project reach this momentous milestone.

To celebrate the commencement of construction of the amenity park they will be hosting a Party for the Park on June 25, for which tickets will be available soon.
