Funeral of Mayo man who died in Westmeath road tragedy

The funeral arrangements have been announced for Paddy (Pauric) Kelly, Belass, Foxford, and formerly of Ballyconnelly, Newmills, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.

The deceased died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle collision on the N4 at Ballinalack, Co. Westmeath, on May 2 last.

His wife, Margaret, also suffered serious injuries in the accident and is recovering at a hospital in Dublin.

Paddy will repose at Clarke's Funeral Home, Foxford, tomorrow (Monday) evening from 5 to 7 p.m.

Funeral will arrive to St. Michael's Church, Foxford, on Tuesday for Requiem Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Craggagh Cemetery.

Paddy is greatly missed by his loving and devastated wife of almost 50 years, Margaret (neé Murray), his heartbroken daughter Elaine, her husband Lorcan, his adoring grandchildren, Iarla, Joni and Shay who were the light of their Gaga's life, his brother Gerard (Scotland), sister Noreen (Letterkenny), brothers and sister, his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, to whom deepest sympathy is extended.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.
