Same again for Mayo in minor quarterfinal

Mayo manager Sean Deane has named the same team that defeated Galway in the Connacht final last Monday for their Electric Ireland minor football championship quarterfinal against Kildare tomorrow (Sunday). The games throws in at 2.30 p.m. in O'Connor Park, Tullamore.

Claremorris twins Dara and Niall Hurley are again named in attack, with Dara set to start at centre-forward and Niall, man-of-the-match in the Connacht final, named at corner-forward.

Goalkeeper David Dolan will have the same backs in front of him, with Rio Mortimer, John MacMonagle, Lorcan Silke, Liam Maloney, Colm McHale and Paul Gilmore all starting for the sixth game in a row.

The hard-working Jack Keane from Hollymount/Carramore and the industrious Luke Feeney from Ballina Stephenites have now formed a formable partnership in the middle of the field.

Up front, wing-forwards James Maheady and Diarmuid Duffy flank Dara Hurley, with Cathal Keaveney and Niall Hurley in the corners. The attack is led by the deadly accurate Ronan Clarke from Bohola Moy Davitts at full-forward.

The referee appointed for the match is Barry Tiernan from Dublin. The game will be broadcast on the Sport TG4 YouTube channel. There will also be live commentary on Midwest Radio with Stephen Grealis and Nigel Reape. Tickets can be purchased here.

The Mayo team in full is as follows: David Dolan; Rio Mortimer, John MacMonagle, Lorcan Silke; Liam Maloney, Colm McHale, Paul Gilmore; Jack Keane, Luke Feeney; James Maheady, Dara Hurley, Diarmuid Duffy; Cathal Keaveney, Ronan Clarke, Niall Hurley.
