Brendan Gallen, Bofield, Ballina, and formerly of Leeds.

Predeceased by his father Hughie and mother Rita. Mourned by his sister Mary and brothers Anthony and Sean. Remembered by his relatives, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing in Gallagher's Funeral Home, Bonniconlon, on Friday, from 12 noon with removal at 12.45 p.m. to arrive at The Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Bonniconlon, for Requiem Mass at 1 p.m., with burial afterwards in Bonniconlon Cemetery.

KATHLEEN MARREN, CLAREMORRIS

Kathleen (Kay) Marren (née Rutledge), Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Claremorris. Peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Treasured wife of Val and adored mother of Valerie, Karen, John and the late Vincent. Predeceased by her parents Ellen and Bertie, sister Maura and brother Robert. Sadly missed by her sons-in-law Robert and Joe, grandchildren Matthew, Jeremy, Alice and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren Laila, Penelope and Max, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, A94 XK28. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10a.m. in the Church of St. Laurence O’Toole, Kilmacud, followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery. MICHAEL MORAN, WESTPORT

Michael Moran, Lough Inch, Bearna and formerly Derrygarve, Westport. Ex Garda Detective, Salthill. Michael passed away suddenly at home with his loving wife Helen and family by his side.

Predeceased by his parents Frank and Cecelia, his Godson and nephew Aidan and his sister-in-law Cathy. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by Helen and their children Michelle, Paul and Lisa, sons-in-law Shane and Ed and Paul’s partner Emma, his adored grandchildren Robyn and Ollie, his brothers Brendan, John, Frank, Willie and Kevin, sisters-in-law Cathy, Bridie and Mary, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, cousins, the extended Moran and Byrne family, neighbours, ex-garda colleagues and his many friends.

JOAN O'BYRNE, BALLINROBE

Joan O'Byrne (née Garvey) Alderwood Road, Tralee, Co. Kerry and formerly of Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo, died peacefully on the 14th June 2022, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry. Beloved wife of John, dear mother of Owen, Anna, Claire and Stephen, Cherished grandmother of Ríain, Finn, Luain and Eve, sister of Mary, Rev. Jack, Eddie, Catherine and Paddy (predeceased). Sadly missed by her loving family, her husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing in "The Fuchsia Room" Hogan's Funeral Home, Tralee, on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral cortège departing Hogan's Funeral Home at 10.15 a.m. on Friday arriving at Our Lady and St. Brendan's Church, Tralee at 10.40 a.m. for 11 a.m. Requiem Mass (live streamed on www.stbrendansparishtralee.net). WILLIAM O'CONNOR, THE NEALE

William (Willie), Cahernagulm, The Neale. Peacefully, surrounded by his family.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Margaret, brother Seamus, sisters Mona, Sally and Peggy, nieces Colleen and Suzanne (USA). Deeply regretted by his sister Elizabeth (Lily)(Dublin), nieces Mary (USA) and Suzanne, nephews Fergal and Paul, sister-in-law Mary, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at Cummins' Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 o'clock with removal at 7 o'clock to St John the Baptist Church, The Neale. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11 o'clock with burial afterwards in Ballyholla Cemetery.

ITA GARVEY, CASTLEBAR

Ita Garvey (née Mongan) of Booterstown, Co. Dublin and late of Cork, Castlebar and Liskeavy, Tuam,peacefully in the exceptional care of Patricia, Carmen, Karen and the staff at Greystones Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Cathal, dear mother of Thérese, Carmel (Mc Gee) and Ann, sister-in-law of Margaret, mother-in-law of Brian, adored Mamó of Aisling and Cathal. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral arriving at Holy Rosary Church, Greystones for Mass at 12 Noon on Friday followed by burial in Redford Cemetery, Greystones.

ANN PATRICIA HASTINGS, WESTPORT

Ann Patricia Hastings, peacefully at her home in Luton, UK and formerly of Claddy, Cushlough, Westport and Mullingar.

Predeceased by her parents Ellen and Christy and her sister Margaret. Deeply regretted by her husband John, daughters Marie, Louise and Sharon, son Sean, her 12 grandchildren and great-grandchild Freddie, brothers Padraic and Joe, sisters Julia, Catherine an Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of good friends.

Ann's Funeral Mass will take place at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, Luton on Wednesday morning,June 22, at 9 a.m. followed by burial in The Vale Cemetery, Stopsley, Luton at 11:15 a.m.
