N17 road closure for bridge works this week
MOTORISTS are being reminded that a section of the N17 at Claremorris will be closed for a number of days this week.
The N17 will be closed from the junction with the R320 to the junction of the southbound N17/N60 off slip from 8 a.m. Tuesday (June 21) to midnight on June 23 to facilitate precast bridge beam installation.
Mayo County Council has published a diversion map.
The council is working closely with the local gardai and the contractor to minimise the disruption to the town of Claremorris.
