Mayo man makes moves from Sligo Rovers to Treaty United

Treaty United have announced the signing of Mayo man Darren Collins from Sligo Rovers.

The versatile Collins can operate as a right-back or a striker, and made eight appearances in the Premier Division for the Bit o' Red before moving to the Limerick-based club.

“We would like to wish Darren all the best as he signs for Treaty United,” said Rovers.

“Darren was part of our academy for a number of years and will no doubt go on to become an important player in Limerick.”

The 21-year-old Lacken native played for Ballina Town and Killala in his younger days before joining the Rovers academy.
