Traffic lights timing at busy Mayo junction questioned

THE timing on the traffic lights at Newtown in Castlebar, at the presbytery and coming from Market Square, needs to be looked at.

There has been a few accidents in recent months, Councillor Ger Deere highlighted.

Cars are getting caught up, and some pedestrians are finding they don't have time to cross.
