New Turlough greenway link to open in August

A NEW greenway link to Turlough village is due to be completed by early August.

The path will connect the new bridge with the village.

An update circulated to councillors explained how the greenway access bridge was installed in May, with a short section of path. Work is progressing on an extended path to link the bridge with the village, with a completion date of August 12.

Pre-planning and ongoing development works are ongoing in relation to a number of other local capital projects in the Castlebar Municipal District - Ballintubber, Breaffy Woods loop walk and Moorehall/ Towerhill ORIS project.
