Kayaker rescued by Achill Coast Guard

ACHILL Island Coast Guard came to the assistance of two kayakers on Wednesday afternoon.

The alarm was raised shortly before 2 p.m. where the kayakers needed help at the Seal Caves in Dugort.

A wave had capsized one of the kayakers and they needed assistance to get back to shore safely.

The D-class vessel was launched from Dugort Pier and the crew brought the kayaker back to dry land.
