Minister visits north Mayo multi-use games area

THE Minister of State for Sport and the Gaeltacht, Jack Chambers, has visited Páirc Spraoi Caochán (MUGA), a multi-use games area in Ceathrú na gCloch, Ceathrú Thaidhg.

Minister Chambers was fulsome in his praise of the project and of its benefit to the community.

The multi-use, all-weather surface play area is an amenity which can be enjoyed by local people and visitors to the area, including Coláiste Samhraidh students.

Comhar Dún Chaocháin Teo, the project promoter, would like to thank all those involved in bringing the project to this stage and look forward to its official opening.
