PADDY GALLAGHER, BANGOR ERRIS
Paddy Gallagher, Townagh, Bellacorick, Bangor Erris, peacefully at The Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his Parents Thomas and Annie, brothers Mike, Tony and Eddie, nephew Kevin, uncle Frank Sweeney, cousin and Godchild Mary O'Neill and recently deceased cousin and neighbour Peter Gallagher.
Paddy will be sadly missed by his brothers Tom, Philadelphia, USA, and Frank, London, his sister Sr. Mary, Ballina, Foxford, sister-in-law Margaret, nephews Tom, Michael and Edward, nieces Annette Casey, Molly Brink, and Annette McLeod, grandnieces, grandnephews, great- grandniece, cousins and neighbours Madeline, Fiona, Brendan, Paul and Mick Gallagher and all their families, relatives, friends, neighbours and all his ESB work colleagues.
Paddy's remains will repose at his residence in Townagh on Thursday from 4 o’clock until 8 o’clock. Removal To Our Lady's Church, Ballymunnelly, on Friday for Funeral Mass at 12 o’clock with burial afterwards in Bangor-Erris Cemetery.
LIAM HYNES, BALLYHAUNIS
Liam Hynes, Priory Avenue, Stillorgan, (formerly of Glenamaddy, Ballyhaunis and Ballinrobe), peacefully at home.
Predeceased by his sister Louise and brothers Gerald and Sean. Brother of Ann and Donal. Liam will be forever loved and sadly missed by his nephews and nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, extended family, relatives and friends.
Liam’s funeral service will take place on Thursday at 3.15 p.m. in Mount Jerome (Victorian Chapel).
FRANK MACKEN, KILMAINE
Frank (Francie) Macken, Reading, England and formerly of Rausakeera, Kilmaine, passed away peacefully, in the care of the staff of Riverview Care Home, Reading.
Recently deceased by his brother Davy, (Rausakeera) Frank will be sadly missed by his sisters, Maureen Doyle, (WIcklow) and Siobhán O'Hare (Dublin), his nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, his sister-in-law Babe and all other relatives and good friends in Ireland and the U.K.
Reposing at Rausakeera, Kilmaine on Friday from 3 o'clock. Removal on Saturday morning for Mass of the Resurrection, in St., Patrick's Church, Kilmaine, at 10 o'clock with funeral proceeding afterwards to the New Cemetery, Kilmaine.
JOHN MULLEN, BALLINA
John Mullen, Bofeenaun, Ballina. Peacefully at home after a short illness.
Predeceased by his wife Mary, son Noel, parents Mikie and Cis and sister Maura. Deeply mourned by his loving daughter Annette, sons Alan and Michael, sisters Ann (Hill), Nora (Flynn), Breege (Kelly), Margaret (Sheehan), grandchildren Nathan, Alannah, John, Ruth, Kyle, Karly and Evie, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Trisha, aunt, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Remains reposing at Leonard’s Funeral Home Lahardane on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon in St Mary’s Church Bofeenaun and burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
JOSEPH MURPHY, ACHILL
Joseph Murphy, Polranny, Achill.
Cherished husband of the late Bridgie (née Corrigan). Predeceased by his siblings Bridget Kearney (Micheal), Mick, Paddy (Tess), Teddy, Marty, Johnny (Beatrice), Maureen Trainor (Mick), Shelia Corrigan (Stephen), Tommy (Angela), and Owenie.
Sadly missed by his sister Julia Fitzpatrick (Frank) and sisters-in-law Annie (Marty) and Kathleen (Owenie), nephews, nieces, great-nephews/nieces and a large circle of family and friends.
Reposing at Ted Lavelle’s Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by removal to the Church of Mary Immaculate, Achill Sound. Requiem Mass on Friday at Mary Immuaculate Church and burial afterwards at Pollranny New Cemetery.
PHILIP HEDLEY, LOUISBURGH
Philip Hedley, Askelane, Louisburgh, proprietor Hedley's Garage & Diagnostics.
Peacefully at home surrounded by his family, following a brief illness. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife Jackie (née Taylor), sons Padraic and Danny, mother and father Wendy and Derek, sisters Sarah and Kate, aunt Ann, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended Hedley and Taylor families, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.
Philip will lie in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Thursday from 6 p.m., concluding with evening prayer at 8 p.m. Removal from his home on Friday at 11.20 a.m., to arrive at the Church of the Holy Family, Killeen for 12 noon, Mass of Christian Burial, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
MAURA HOGAN, BALLINROBE
Maura Hogan (née Biggins) in Rochdale, England, formerly of Chapel Road. Ballinrobe.
Predeceased by her loving husband Jack and her sons Gerard and Tony, her brothers Liam, Paddy and Sean and sister Patsy. Maura will be sadly missed by her loving daughters Bernie and Ann, sons Noel and Chris, sister Nan and extended family nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
The funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at St. Patrick's R.C. Church, Rochdale, at 1.45 p.m. followed by committal service at Rochdale Crematorium at 3 p.m.
