FRANCIS BURKE, KILMAINE

Francis (Frank) Burke, Drumcondra, Dublin, late of Ballynulty, Kilmaine, and The Department of Justice, peacefully at the Mater Hospital. Beloved husband of Mary and loving father of Noel and David. Sadly missed by his family, daughters-in-law Wendy and Pauline, Noel’s partner Anne, grandchildren Brendan, Ciara, Paul, Stephen, Aisling, Niamh and Jamie, great-grandchildren Liam, Cillian, Grace Michael and Freya, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his home on Thursday from 6 to 8pm. Removal on Friday morning to St. Vincent de Paul Church, Marino arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial afterwards in Balgriffin Cemetery Extension.

NAN FLYNN, WESTPORT

Nan Flynn (née Nevin), Pearse Terrace, Westport, in the loving care of The Dalton Community Nursing Unit, Claremorris.

Nan will be sadly missed by her sons Bert and PJ, daughter-in-law Siobhán, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her husband Harry, daughter Patricia, her sisters Rose, Theresa and May and brothers Mike and Jimmy.

Reposing at Navin's Funeral Home, Westport (F28 XR 61) on Thursday from 5.30 to 6.30 p.m. with removal to St. Mary's Church, Westport. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in Aughaval Cemetery.

MICHELLE VAHEY, CASTLEBAR

Michelle Vahey, Castle Street, Castlebar and Wood View, Belleek, Ballina, suddenly at her residence.

Predeceased by her father Michael. Deeply regretted by her heartbroken mother Teresa, brother Jimmy, sisters Mary, Teresa and Anne, brothers-in-law Sean and Michael, sister-in-law Cathy, niece Riannon, nephews John, David, Caelum and Morgan, relatives, neighbour, her carers and many great friends at Wood View, Ballina.

Remains reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar on Wednesday, from 5.30 to 7 p.m. Removal on Thursday at 11 a.m. for Funeral Mass at 11.30 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Michelle will be laid to rest afterwards in Ballyheane Cemetery.

SHEILA WALSH, BELMULLET

Sheila Walsh (née Togher), Monaghrory, Clogher, Belmullet and formerly of Lurgacloy, Clogher, Belmullet peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar.

Predeceased by her husband Paddy. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family – daughters Kathleen Sweeney (Letterkenny, Co. Donegal), Margaret Prendergast (Swinford), Marie Gallagher (Dungloe, Co. Donegal), sons Michael (London) and Patrick (Monaghrory, Clogher, Belmullet), daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, brothers, sisters, adored grandchildren, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

The family would like to take the opportunity at this sad time in their lives to sincerely thank the Management and Staff of the Sonas Tí Aire Nursing Home, Belmullet for the kindness and care shown to their mother Sheila over the past ten years and also to the staff of the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar for their support and kindness in recent times.

Remains will arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Binghamstown on Thursday evening at 7 O’Clock. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon followed by burial in Cross Cemetery.

MARTIN HORKAN, CASTLEBAR

Martin(MJ) Horkan, Springfield Court, Castlebar, and formerly of Market Street, Swinford.

Predeceased by his sisters Nuala and Carmel. Deeply regretted by his brothers, Louis (Swinford), Padraic (Swinford), Tom (Ballina), Brian (Ballina), sisters Ena (Ballina), and Ann (sister) Australia, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, family circle and friends.

Reposing in Campbell's Funeral Home, Swinford on Tuesday from 5.30 p.m. until removal to the Church of Our Lady Help of Christians, Swinford arriving at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass will take place at 12 noon on Wednesday prior to burial in Kilconduff Cemetery.

CLAIRE ROONEY, LOUISBURGH

Claire Rooney (née Jennings), Tamnaharry Hill, Mayobridge, Co. Down formerly Thallabawn, Louisburgh, following a brief illness.

Loving daughter of the late Paddy. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her loving husband Conor, children Lorna and Emma, mother Kitty (née Gannon), sisters Maura, Caithriona, and Fiona, brother Martin, sister-in-law Louise, nephew Ciaran, niece Alana, extended Rooney and Jennings Families and many friends.

Claire's funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 2 .p.m in St. Patrick's Church, Mayobridge, (BT34 2EX) followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
