Julia Fallon, Bollinglanna, Currane, Achill. Passed away peacefully in the loving care of the Staff of the Ryevale Nursing Home, Leixlip, Co. Kildare.
Predeceased by her husband Michael, parents, brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, daughters Margaret, Maura, Ann and Kathleen, sons Michael and Thomas, sons-in-law Jim, John and Tony and daughter-in-law Rose, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, wonderful neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Casadh An Taoille Eircode F28 TF68, Currane on Friday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Mass on Saturday in Our Lady Queen of the Universe Church, Currane, Eircode F28 D864 at 12 o'clock. Burial afterwards in Polranny Cemetery.
PEARL GUNNING, SHRULE
Pearl Gunning, Shrule, and late of Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, peacefully in Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, after a long illness.
Deeply regretted by her loving partner Rob, her brothers Michael and Stephen and family, nephew, nieces, relatives and friends.
Celebration of Perl's life service will take place at Lakelands Crematorium, Co. Cavan on Saturday at 12 noon followed by Cremation service at 1 p.m.
MARGARET CAVISH, BALLYCASTLE
Margaret Cavish, Rathoonagh, Ballycastle, at Mayo University hospital. Sadly missed by her beloved husband Sean, son Graham, daughter Tracy, son-in-law Dean, devoted grandchildren Owen and Britney, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Lynn's funeral home, Killala, on Friday from 6:30 p.m., with removal at 8 p.m. to St. Brigid's Church, Ballycastle, arriving at 8:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday at 11 am, followed by burial in Ballycastle Cemetery.
MARY GREENE, BALLINROBE
Mary Greene (née O’Rorke), Lakeview Drive, Moate, Co. Westmeath, late Abbey Street, Ballinrobe, in the loving care of the Staff at Mowlam Nursing Home, Moate.
Sadly missed by her daughter Anna Marie, sons Joe and John, daughter-in-law Anita, remembered by their father Ted, brother Fr. Jim (New Jersey), sisters Teresa Lochrin (Athy) and Madeline Lyons (Tullamore), grandchildren James and Helena, nephews, nieces, relatives and dear friends.
Reposing at Flynn’s Funeral Home, Moate this Friday, from 6 p.m. concluding with Funeral Prayers at 7.30 p.m. Removal on Saturday to The Carmelite Church Moate arriving at 11.50 a.m. for Funeral Prayers. Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Private Cremation for family and friends only on Monday at 2.40 p.m. in Glasnevin Crematorium.

Predeceased by his wife Teresa, daughter Geraldine, son Sean and all the deceased Hopkins family. Ted, Sadly missed by his loving sons Noel and Martin, daughters Maureen and Bridie, brother Dermot, sisters Geraldine and Dorothy, grandchildren, sons-in-law Paul, Danny and Phil Radford, daughter-in-law Vibeke, brothers-in-law Martin Kenny, Patsy McNamara and Michael Greham, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina on Thursday evening from 5 with removal at 6:30 p.m. to St Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina. Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11:30 a.m. with funeral proceeding to Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.
ELIZABETH HUGHES, ROUNDFORT
The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Betty) Hughes, (née Ewings) ex N.T. Kilmactranny, Boyle, Co.Sligo and Roundfort. Betty passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Abbey Haven Nursing Home, Boyle.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Pat. Deeply regretted by her devoted daughter Marina and son John. Much loved and sadly missed by her beloved grandsons Cormac, Pat, and Ben, great-grandson Teddy, daughter-in-law, Marese, Cormac’s wife Mary, extended family, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.
Betty will repose at her residence on Thursday afternoon (13th October) from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Removal to St. Brigid’s Church, Highwood, arriving 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11 a.m. Interment afterwards in Roundfort Cemetery arriving 2.30 p.m. approximately.
JOHN MAUGHAN, KILLALA
John Maughan, Drumline, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Clare, and Killala. Retired Garda in Shannon. Peacefully in St John Hospital Limerick.
Deeply missed by his loving family, wife Maureen, sons Brian, David and Gerard, daughters-in-law Nicole, Annemarie, and Yvonne, grandchildren Niamh, Aisling, Elise, Cillian and Ava May, sisters Mary and Evelyn, brother James, nephews, niece, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at Mc Mahons Funeral Home, Shannon this Thursday (13th October) from 6 to 7pm followed by removal to Our Lady of the Wells Church, Clonmoney. Funeral Mass Friday at 11 a.m. followed by burial afterwards in Illaunmanagh Cemetery.
JACINTA SUSAN MURRAY, KNOCK
Jacinta Susan Murray BL (née Ní Chuileanáin) Knock, and formerly of Skibbereen, West Cork. Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family and in the compassionate care of Professor Jim Egan and the staff of Mater Private, Dublin.
Jacinta will be forever loved and missed by her husband and anamchara Diarmuid, her beloved sons Oisín, Diarmuid Óg, Aengus and Micheál and her treasured daughter Eavan, her loving daughters-in-law Lynda, Nikki, Yolanda and Maíra, her loving son-in-law Robert and her cherished grandchildren Torin, Éabha, Finnian, Isla, Ruán, Sósanna, Bobby, Oscar and Luma, her sisters Nuala, Eilís and her late brothers Colm and Fionn, baby grandson Finn and her nephew Hugh.
Jacinta will also be greatly missed and remembered for her kindness, dignity and courage by her wider family, nieces, nephews, wonderful friends and neighbours.
Remains reposing at the Marian Funeral Home, Knock (F12 A726) on Thursday evening from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock. Funeral arriving to the Church of St. John The Baptist, Knock on Friday morning for Mass at 11 o’clock followed by burial in local cemetery.
ÚNA PHILLIPS, BALLYHAUNIS
Úna Phillips (née Donnellan), Ballyhaunis, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Devoted and loving wife of Paddy (RIP 2004), predeceased by brothers Tommy, Vinnie and Michéal, sisters Mary and Margie. Dearly loved mother of Declan and Margie, daughter-in-law Sarah and adoring grandmother of Caoimhe, Cillian, Muireann, Áine, Laoise, Clóda, grand son-in-law Leonardo Lima and great family friends John Morley and Claire Hannon.
Una’s remains will repose in the family home this Friday evening from 4 to 8 p.m. Removal will take place on Saturday morning to St Patrick’s Church for Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. Funeral thereafter to the local Cemetery.
CATHERINE WALLACE, FOXFORD
The death has occurred of Catherine Wallace (née Ludden), Station Road, Foxford and late of Castle Street, Castlebar, in the exceptional care of the staff The Sunflower Lounge at Ballina District Hospital.
Catherine was predeceased by her beloved husband Séan and her parents Kathleen and Edward. Catherine will be dearly missed by her daughters Sonia and Valerie, her sons Shane and Brian her sister Mary, her adored grandchildren Dylan, Max, Caitlyn and Ryan, her daughter in-law Geraldine, son in-law Mark, nieces Karen and Ciara, in-laws, relatives neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Catherine will repose at Clarke's Funeral Home, Foxford, on Friday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Funeral will arrive to St. Michael's Church, Foxford, on Saturday morning for funeral Mass at 11 o’clock with the funeral proceeding to Craggagh Cemetery.
