VALERIE CLARKE, SWINFORD

Valerie Clarke (née Doyle), Derryronane, Swinford. Valerie died peacefully in hospital with loved ones by her side following a short illness.

Valerie was predeceased by her husband Sean Clarke. Valerie was much loved and will be deeply missed by her friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews, Patrick, Shelagh, Caroline, Charlie, Jessica and Emma, her great nieces and nephews, Tom, Jim, Fred, Chloe, Joe, Caspar, Inigo, Keely and Livvy and her great great nephew, Oli.

Valerie has been brought to the NUIG donor programme to honour her request to aid in the silent teaching of medical students in the National University of Ireland Galway.

Mass will be offered for Valerie at Our Lady Help of Christians, Swinford at 12 noon on Saturday, November 12, followed by refreshments at Swinford Golf Club.

MICHAEL HUNTER, BALLINA

The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) Hunter of 'Hunter House', Quay Lane, Ballina and Wembley, London and formerly of Ardoughan, Ballina. Peacefully, at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents William and Annie, Sister Barbra. Michael (Mick), deeply regretted by his partner Ruth, sister Mary, brothers James and Stewart, nieces and nephews Caroline, Collette, John, Liam and Brian, step daughters Tracy and Shannon, brother-in-law Tommy, extended family and friends.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina, on Friday evening from 6 until 7.30 p.m. Funeral cortège will arrive to St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina, on Saturday morning for requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m., with funeral proceeding to Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.

MICHAEL MUNNELLY, BANGOR ERRIS

Michael Munnelly, St. Maelruan's Park, Tallaght, Dublin and Bangor Erris. Ex Dublin Bus Driver. Michael passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Tallaght Hospital.

Dearly loved husband of 62 years to Maureen. Much loved father of Colm, Nigel, Shane and Tony. Michael will be sadly missed by his family, sisters Rita, Maeve and Nuala, brother Oliver, daughters-in-law, his 36 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his sister Ann and brothers Seán, Alan and Jimmy.

Reposing at The Brian McElroy Funeral Home, The Square, Tallaght on today (Thursday) from 3 to 5.30 p.m. Funeral on Friday with Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Dominic's Church, Tallaght (eircode D24 T262) and afterwards to Bohernabreena Cemetery.

MAUREEN GALLAGHER, BELMULLET

Maureen Gallagher (née Shally), Carne Hill, Belmullet, and formerly of Flaskaghmore, Dunmore, Co. Galway peacefully at the Belmullet Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her recently deceased husband Seán and her parents Paddy and Bridie Shally, (Flaskaghmore, Dunmore). Beloved mother of Louise and Ciarán and dear sister of Kathleen Gallagher (Bohola), Michael (Flaskaghmore, Dunmore) and Margaret Davis (Williamstown). She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, her aunt Mira (Birmingham), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, work colleagues at the H.S.E. Belmullet, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Thursday evening from 5.30 until 8 o'clock. The family have requested walk through only at the funeral home and please refrain from handshaking throughout the funeral. Funeral will arrive at the Church of Holy Family, Carne Belmullet on Friday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Crossmolina (arriving at 2.30 approx.).

BOB HILLIER, KILLALA

Bob Hillier, Shelbourne, Quay Road, Killala, and formerly of Folkestone, Kent.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Tess, son Tobye, daughter Claire, grandson Ruadhán, son-in-law Stuart, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal from Lynn's funeral home, Killala, on Thursday at 11 a.m. for committal service in Killala Cemetery.

Patrick (Paddy) O'Grady, Cushalogart, Kilmeena, Westport. Peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Predeceased by his wife Mary (née Gibbons), brother Michael Joe and sister Mary O'Shea (Chicago). Paddy will be sadly missed by his daughters Ann Forrestal (Glenhest), Mary Slattery (Kilmeena) and Regina Byrne (Newport), sons Michael (Kilmeena) and Geoffrey (Chicago), sons-in-law Tommy, Mike and Sean, daughters-in-law Mary and Karen, his sixteen cherished grandchildren, sisters Teresa Brosnan and Kathleen McGill (Chicago), sisters-in-law Bernie O'Grady (Chicago) and Eileen Daly (Cork), brothers-in-law Sean Brosnan (Chicago) and John Gibbons (California), nieces, nephews,relatives, his friend and carer Kay McManamon, his wonderful circle of neighbours and many friends.

Removal from his residence today (Thursday) to St. Brendan's Church, Myna, Kilmeena for Requiem Mass at 12 p.m. followed by burial in Myna Cemetery.
