Double success for Mayo law firm at national awards
The Mayo based legal firm P.O’Connor & Son has scored two major successes at the Irish Law Awards 2022.
Siobhan Durkan, Samantha Geraghty and Pat O’Connor, partners in P. O’Connor & Son, Swinford, were presented with the Irish Laws Awards 2022 accolade as winner of the Connacht/Ulster Property firm/team/Lawyer of the Year category.
Samantha Geraghty, solicitor and partner in P. O’Connor & Son, received the national award for Irish Language Practitioner of the Year.
Ivan Yates was the master of ceremonies at the gala dinner in the Aviva Stadium in which the winners were named and the awards presented.
Now in their 10th year, the Irish Law Awards aim to identify, honour and publicise outstanding achievements, while also recognising those who have dedicated their lives to serving in the legal profession.
The annual event is designed to recognise excellence in the legal profession in Ireland, commending the achievements of lawyers.
P. O’Connor & Son was nominated for eight different legal awards mainly in the property, company, litigation and corporate law areas of practice.
