Limited editions of Mayo broadcaster’s book available

FOR all who are looking for that special stocking filler for Christmas the good news is that Peter Killeen's book, Friends of My Youth, launched last year, is available in The Castle Book Shop and Eason's, both in Main Street, Castlebar.

This is the perfect gift for family and friends, at home and abroad. However, there are only a limited number of copies available so don't miss out.

Good news from Peter is that he has two children's books almost ready for publication, and they should be in the shops by spring of 2023.

For young children, there will be The Adventures of Cranuck the Wildebeest, a lovely book with beautiful illustrations by Karen O'Brien, and for older children and the young at heart there will be Adventure on Achill Island, a tale where four young people are drawn into a gripping adventure of kidnapping and drug smuggling by an international criminal organisation with Interpol and the local Gardai out to smash them.
