BALLINROBE Under 16 boys recorded their first win in the Mayo Basketball League following an impressive 43-22 win over Westport at the Lakeside Centre last week.

Westport took the first two quarters and were well in control with some good scores but Ballinrobe took control of the third and fourth quarters to run out convincing winners.

Barry Langan put in a strong performance for the winners, finishing on 15 points.
