JOHN CALLAGHAN, ACHILL

John Callaghan, Keel West, Dooagh, Achill unexpectedly at Mayo General Hospital.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Ann, Sons, Kieran. (Dooagh) Kevin (Dooagh), Noel (Dublin), daughter, Linda (Dooagh), daughters-in-law, Josephine, Imelda and Louise, son-in-law Martin, grandchildren, sister-in-law Joey, nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lavelle's Funeral Home, Cashel, Achill on Friday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. Removal from his son Kevin's home on Saturday morning at 9.30 a.m. to St. Patrick's Church, Pollagh for funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will take place afterwards in Slievemore Cemetery.

BRIDIE KILLEEN, BALLINA

The death has occurred of Bridget (Bridie) Killeen, Ballinena, Carrowmore-Lacken, Ballina. Peacefully at Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, surrounded by loved ones.

Predeceased by her husband Joe. Bridie will be so sadly missed by her family, her children Mary, John, Ann, Angie and Shelagh. Her sons-in-law David, Michael, Jamie, and Simon, her partner PJ and daughter-in-law, Menik. Her grandchildren, Katie (and husband Simon), Clare (and husband Alastair), Dane, Grace, Emily (and husband Matthew), Charlotte, Isobel, Finn, Alfie, and Joseph. Her great-grandchildren, Noah, Peaches, and Theodore. Her beloved brothers and sisters, Michael, Vincie, Teresa, Antoinette, and Brendan and late siblings, Paul, Sheila, Mary, Bernie, Martin, and Francis and all her nieces and nephews who she adored. She will be sadly missed by the many special and dear friends she made in every room she walked into.

Reposing at Lynn’s Funeral Home, Killala. Removal to St. Patrick's Church, Lacken, F26 P9P1, on Thursday January 5, for funeral Mass at 12 noon.

PADDY LYONS, BALLYHAUNIS

Paddy Lyons, Redford, Ballyhaunis and Manchester. Peacefully in Manchester.

Predeceased by his brother-in-law Michael Griffin. Deeply regretted by his sisters Mary, Bridie and Noreen his brothers-in-law Paul Coggins and John Robinson, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews in Ireland, England, Canada and Sweden, relatives and friends.

Patrick’s remains will taken into St. Bernard's R.C. Church, Burnage Lane, Burnage, Manchester M19 1DR on Tuesday at 7.30 p.m. for a Funeral Mass. Funeral will repose at Donnellans Funeral Home, Clare Street, Ballyhaunis on Wednesday evening from 5.30 until 7 p.m. Funeral will arrive to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyhaunis on Thursday morning for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

SEAMUS MCDONNELL, WESTPORT

Seamus McDonnell, Mace, Aughagower, Westport.

Predeceased by his sister Mary, brothers Thomas, Jack, Nicholas and Michael. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Aughagower Community Center this Friday evening from 5 o'clock with removal at 6.30 to St. Patrick's Church, Aughagower. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11 o'clock with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

PATRICK GERARD MELLETT, HOLLYMOUNT

Patrick Gerard Mellett, Late of Carrowkeel, Hollymount, peacefully surrounded by his loving family and in the excellent care of all the staff of Mayo Hospice.

Sadly missed by his sister Monica Hynes (Birmingham), brother Michael and sister-in-law Eugenie, nieces, nephews and extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his sisters May Moran, Delia Kirrane, Sally Kerr (Boston), Teresa McMahon (Boston), Philomena Moran (Chicago) and sister John Patrick, (Josephine) Holy Trinity Order.

Reposing at Roundfort Community Centre on Friday from 4.30 to 6.30 p.m. followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Roundfort. Requiem Mass on Saturday at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Roundfort at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Roundfort Cemetery.

MAUREEN QUINN, WESTPORT

Maureen Quinn (née Grimes), Moohane, Newmarket on Fergus, Co. Clare and formerly of Drummin, Westport, unexpectedly at home.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Denis, children Brendan, Shay and Clare (Culliney), son-in-law Patrick, daughter-in-law Kirsten, grandchildren Aisling, David and Evelyn, brothers Michael and Gerard, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements: Reposing at her residence (V95 C9Y4) on Friday from 4 until 7 p.m. Arriving to St. Mary's Church, Quin, on Saturday for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in Kildrum Cemetery, Quin.

MAUREEN MALONEY, HOLLYMOUNT

Maureen Maloney (née Killeen), Brownstown, Hollymount. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff in University Hospital Galway.

Predeceased by her loving husband Mike. Deeply missed by her heartbroken family, daughters Myra and Pauline, sons Tommy, Pat and Michael, son-in-laws Gerry and Jim, daughters-in-law Colette, Trish and Tina, her adored grandchildren Darren, Lorraine, Keith, Colm, Clara, James, Marina, Enda, Brian, Caoilinn, Cathal, Orlaith, Aoife and Alanah, her great grandchildren Orin, Tadhg, Caleb and Noah, her relations, neighbours and friends.

Reposing Thursday evening at Fr. Paddy's House, Robeen from 4 with private removal to her home at 6 p.m. Funeral cortege will arrive at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Robeen Friday afternoon for Requiem Mass at 1 p.m with the funeral proceeding to Robeen Cemetery.

JEAN MATHIESON, SHRULE

Jean Mathieson (Maureen), Shrule, and formerly of Bristol, England. Jean died peacefully, following the wonderful care she received from all the staff at Castlegar Nursing Home with her much loved family by her side.

Mourned by her beloved sisters Vivienne and Katreen and by her children David, Alex, Ben and Rosie. Sadly missed also by her daughters-in-law Helen, Katy and Clare and son -in-law Duncan, her dearly loved grandchildren Caoimhe, Joe, Seán, Ziggy, Molly, Orin, Henry and Barney and by her great-grandson Leo.

Private cremation to follow.

John Moran, Coolmine, Dublin 15 and formerly of Westport, suddenly at home.

Beloved husband of the late Cathy and dear father of Gary and brother of the late Michael; sadly missed by his loving son, grandchildren Callum and Sophia, daughter-in-law Jacqueline, brothers Brendan, Frank, William and Kevin, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Blanchardstown on Friday evening between 6 pm and 8 pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Brigid’s Church, Blanchardstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. followed by burial in Esker Cemetery, Lucan.

EAMON MORLEY, KILTIMAGH

Eamon Morley, late of Faughill, Kiltimagh. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

Mourned deeply by his wife Helena; his children, Fiona, Mairéad, Tomás, and Eibhlín; his daughter in-law Karen; his sons in-law Frank, Dayalan and Joff; and his eleven grandchildren - Eibhlín, Bronagh, Katelyn, Aisling, Jack, Ethan, Robin, Ódhran, Maeve, Roma, and Oisín. Sadly missed by his sisters, Maureen and Monica; brother, Tom; his sisters in-law Kitty and Frances; his extended family, neighbours, and many friends. Predeceased by his brothers, John and Liam, and his sisters, Nan and Peggy.

Removal on Friday morning to the Church of St. John The Baptist, Knock, for Mass at 11.00 o’clock, followed by burial afterwards in Knock Cemetery.
