Former Mayo GAA star flags interest in punditry

Former Mayo GAA star Lee Keegan has flagged his interest in becoming a Gaelic games pundit.

Speaking during a candid interview on the Late Late Show last night, the Westport ace was asked by presenter Ryan Tubridy about the matter.

In his response, Keegan said if an offer came his way he would give it very serious consideration.

Keegan, who recently announced his retirement from the Mayo senior squad following a distinguished career, has been strongly linked with a role in RTÉ Sport's GAA coverage.

Vacancies have been created as a result of the departure of both Kevin McStay and Colm O''Rourke to take up managerial appointments in their own counties while Pat Spillane has retired from The Sunday Game after 30 years on the role.
