North Mayo club to enter women's team for 2023 season

Crossmolina AFC have announced the formation of our first ever women's team for the 2023 Mayo Women's League season.

Derek Greham will manage the new women's side, his first role with the club since last managing the senior men's team to Tonra Cup glory back in 2019. Jess Gough will take on the role as Derek's assistant and oversee the team behind the scenes in an administrative role.

In a statement, the Mayo Women's League said that the latest team to join the league is a testament to "the growth in the Mayo region in terms of women's football is amazing to see and affords all the chance to play the beautiful game."
