Predeceased by his parents Jim and Julia, sister Rose and daughter-in-law recently deceased Claire. Deeply regretted by his loving family Wife Breedge, daughter Rose, sons John F, Jimmy, Karl, son-in-law Noel, grandchildren Wayne, Gemma, Aoife, Johnny, Shane, Tara, Kiera, Aoibhe, great-grandchildren Jonah, Odhrain, luca, Aurora, many cousins nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at Saint Joseph’s Funeral Home, Ballinrobe F31H289, on Saturday evening from 5.30 with removal at 7 p.m. to his residence. Requiem Mass on Sunday morning at 11.30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Ballinrobe, with the Funeral proceeding to the new cemetery.
RITA CHRISTINA SONERSON, BALLINA
Rita Christina Sonerson (née Joyce), Warrington, Cheshire, England and formerly of Lord Edward Street, Ballina.
Predeceased by her father John Joyce and mother Bridget Agnes Burns (Ballina). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughter Christine Sonerson and son Gerald Sonerson, sister Joan Crank, grandchildren, great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, friends and strong links to relatives in Australia.
Funeral cortège will arrive at St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina on Saturday for funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Interment will take place afterwards in Leigue Cemetery.
MARY GIBBONS, CASTLEBAR
Mary Gibbons (neé Cusack), Davitt’s Terrace, Castlebar and formerly of Glenisland, (in her 97th year) peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the care of the staff at Cuan Chaitriona Nursing Home, Castlebar.
Predeceased by her husband Bill and her son Séan. Deeply regretted by her daughters Chris (O’Brien) and Marian (Langan), son Liam (UK), sons-in-law Seamus (O’Brien) and Tom (Langan), daughters-in-law Carmel and Ann, 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Remains reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home on Friday evening from 5.30 with removal at 7 p.m. to her residence, Davitt’s Terrace, Castlebar. Removal on Saturday morning from her residence at 11.15 a.m. for Funeral Mass at 12noon in Church of the Holy Rosary, Glenisland, followed by burial afterwards in Glenisland Cemetery.
TOM LYNCH, ACHILL
Tom Lynch (Lynchehaun) Sandybanks, Keel, Achill. Peacefully at his home in Keel surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his wife Mary (née O’Donnell) and darling granddaughter Aisling. Deeply missed by his children Mary, Sean, Margie, Eileen, Tricia and Tom, loved and remembered forever by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Regretted and missed by his sister Margaret and brothers John and Brendan, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Tom’s remains will repose at Sweeney’s Funeral Home in Achill Sound on Thursday from 4.30 to 6.30 p.m. His life will be commemorated at Sweeney’s Funeral Home on Friday at 11.30 a.m. Removal from there to Slievemore Cemetery where Tom will be laid to rest.
TOM MURTAGH, AGHAMORE
Tom Murtagh, Messingham, Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, England and formerly of Falleighter, Aghamore.
Predeceased by his sister Mary Bowens née Murtagh (Cloonfad). Tom will be sadly missed by his loving wife Kay, his daughter Clare, four grandchildren Jack, Abi, Alfie and Arcie, his brother Paddy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at The Marian Funeral Home, Knock (F12 A726) on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m., followed by removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Aghamore. Mass on Saturday at 12 p.m. with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
KEN STEVENS, NEWPORT
Ken Stevens of Newport, and late of Curran, Achill and England in his 79th year.
Deeply regretted by his wife Toke, children, Tim, Rob and Jennifer, son-in-law William, grandson Axl, sister Sue, family and friends.
Reposing in St. Dominic's Funeral Home, Newport on Thursday from 6 until 7.30 p.m. A short service will take place in St. Dominic's Funeral Home on Friday morning at 11:30 a.m.
