Funeral arrangements for victim of Mayo road tragedy

The funeral arrrangements have been announced for Stephen Brennan (25), Lismirrane, Bohola.

He was one of the young men who lost his life in a traffic collision on the Balla to Claremorris roadway last Wednesday night.

Martin Murphy (27), Drum, Knock, also died in a tragedy that the evoked a huge sense of sorrow and loss across the region.

Stephen is deeply regretted by his heartbroken mother Rita, father Declan, his grannies Margaret O'Donnell, Meenahalla, Glenties, and Angela Brennan, Forth Village, Kinaffe, uncles, Gerald, Michael and Columba O'Donnell, Gerry and Aiden Brennan, aunts Mary Pratico and Virginia Filan, all his many cousins, relations and friends both in Mayo and Donegal.

Deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved family on their immeasurable loss.

Stephen will repose at his home in Lismirrane, Bohola (F12HH31), on Saturday evening from 6 o'clock until 10 o'clock and on Sunday from 4 o'clock until 7 o'clock.

Funeral Mass takes place on Monday at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception and Saint Joseph Bohola, followed by burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Bohola.
