Same again for Mayo in second league outing

Mayo GAA senior football manager Kevin McStay has named the same 15 players that started against Galway last weekend for round two of the Allianz National Football League against Armagh on Sunday (February 5). The game at BOX-IT Athletic Grounds has a 3.30 p.m. throw-in time.

David McBrien and Bob Tuohy, who got late call-ups before the Galway game, have retained their places at the corner-back and at wing-forward respectively.

Knockmore custodian Colm Reape continues in goal, with David McBrien, Westport's Rory Brickenden and newcomer Jack Coyne, Ballyhaunis, making up the full-back line.

In the absence of Paddy Durcan, Stephen Coen continues as captain and is joined on the half-back line by Conor Loftus and Enda Hession.

Breaffy's Matthew Ruane and Diarmuid O'Connor from Ballintubber continue their formidable partnership at midfield.

In attack, Castlebar Mitchels youngster Tuohy is named on the 40 with Jack Carney from Kilmeena and Jordan Flynn from Crossmolina Deel Rovers.

The inside line is the same as against Galway, with Belmullet sharp-shooter Ryan O'Donoghue, Ardagh's James Carr and Knockmore's Aiden Orme all set to start back-to-back games for their county.

This game is live on TG4 Sport, with live commentary also on Midwest Radio with Michael D. McAndrew and Mark Ronaldson. Fergal Kelly of Longford is down to referee the game. Mayo GAA will have live updates across all social media platforms on Sunday.
