In 2020 the orchestra received the Youth Orchestra Achievement Award for performing highlights from the Nutcracker performance with Victoria Walker Dance and the Jeté Youth Project.

Stated Ms. Moriarty: "We're looking forward to another great day with fantastic music in the National Concert Hall.

"We are honoured to be there and it will be a memorable experience for all our members."
