Public consultation dates for new Mayo N17 route

Sligo Regional Design Office (RDO) released the Emerging Preferred Transport Corridor for the N17 Knock to Collooney (Atlantic Economic Corridor) Project on January 31.

The preferred corridor can be viewed on the project website at https://n17knockcollooney.ie/

The project is now in a period of public consultation.

As part of the public consultation, dates have been scheduled to allow members of the public to meet in person with the project team.

These public consultations are being held in:

1. Teach Laighne (Humbert St., Tobercurry, Co. Sligo, F91 Y328)

on Tuesday, March 7 (between 1.30 and 7.30 p.m.)

2. Knock House Hotel (Knock, Co. Mayo, F12 R6Y5)

on Wednesday, March 8 (between 1.30 and 7.30 p.m.)

3. Clayton Hotel (Clarion Road, Ballinode, Sligo, F91 N8EF)

on Tuesday, March 14 (between 1.30 and 7.30 p.m.)

Meetings are scheduled for 20-minutes and limited to three persons per appointment.

Please note that pre-booking is essential for these meetings.

Bookings can be made by calling 071 91 11990 from tomorrow, February 21.

Please ensure you have your Group Reference (if applicable) and Eircode to hand when making a booking.

In addition to the in-person dates, call-back appointments can be booked with the project team on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
