Mayo hurling team shows six changes for Armagh clash

Dave McConn and Tom Phillips have made six changes to the Mayo senior hurling team ahead of their trip north to play Armagh in round three of the Allianz National Hurling League. The game will throw in at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Box-IT Athletic Grounds, Armagh.

Most of the Tooreen contingent are now back in full training, and McConn and Phillips have wasted little time in bolstering their side.

Bobby Douglas starts in goals ahead of Barry Lane, Oisin Greally comes into the full-back ahead of Mark Phillips, with former All-Star David Kenny slotting into the half-back line in place of Luke Connor.

John Cassidy now partners Cormac Phillips at midfield, while up front, Eoin Delaney and Sean Kenny replace John Heraty and Paddy Dozio.

Former Galway Under 21 star Joe Mooney will operate on the edge of the square against Armagh, with Jason Coyne, Adrian Phillips and Daniel Huane all named in a new-look attack.

Tooreen's David Kenny will captain the team for the game, which will be refereed by Kevin Parke from Antrim.

Mayo GAA will have live updates across all social media platforms tomorrow afternoon, with commentary on Midwest Radio from Michael D. McAndrew and Frank Brown. You can purchase tickets for the game on GAA.ie/tickets and at selected SuperValu and Centra stores.
