Mayo Young Sports Stars: Ace on the court represents Ireland at three age grades

In December of last year, Eoghan Jennings took part in the Under 14 Junior Orange Bowl World Tennis Championships in Miami, Florida – one of the most important junior tennis tournaments in the world.

It was the culmination of a great year for the Westport native, who won the Under 14 boys singles title in the 2022 William Fry Junior Lawn Irish Open Championships in August and represented his country in a number of prestigious events at three age grades – Under 14, Under 15 and Under 16.

A student at St. Gerald's College, Castlebar, Eoghan has taken the tennis world by storm at a young age and would appear to have a very bright future in the sport.

The Connaught Telegraph Young Sports Star winner will collect his award at the ceremony this evening (Friday) in Breaffy House Resort.
