Mayo distillery raising a toast to Banshees ahead of Oscars

AN Achill Island distillery is raising a special toast to the Banshees of Inisherin ahead of the Oscars this Sunday night.

The Irish American Whiskey distillery has featured a special 'Oscars Edition' Achill Island Whiskey on its social media to celebrate the great achievements of the Banshees of Inisherin, which was filmed on the island.

It features 'J.J. Devine' on the label, the pub specially built for the film.

The team at the distillery sent a message to all involved with the film: 'Wishing all the best to the cast and crew hoping to win big on Sunday night!'
