Works to proceed on car park at Mayo GAA club

NEWS that works on a new community car park at Ballintubber GAA Club will proceed to tender has been welcomed by Deputy Alan Dillon.

“I am delighted that Mayo County Council has proceeded to the tender stage for the car park.

“The project involves the development of a car park beside the GAA pitch and community resource centre for use by the community. It will connect an existing trail to access loop walks, local amenities and sports facilities. The general works include civil and site works, drainage, surfacing and soft landscaping,” he explained.

“The works on the car park and connection to the local loop walks which will further enhance the village of Ballintubber where a series of local and loop walks have been developed,” said Deputy Dillon.
