Public information events on central Mayo road and active travel projects

TWO public information events are being held next week on road and walk/cycle route projects in central Mayo.

Interested parties are invited to attend the events and hear about the N60 road improvement project at Manulla and the N60 Pollavaddy to Balla active travel scheme.

Mayo County Council is holding a public information event on Wednesday, March 29, at Manulla Community Centre between 2 and 7 p.m. in relation to the preferred option corridor for the proposed N60 road improvement at Manulla project.

Drawings of the preferred option corridor will be on display and staff from Mayo National Roads Office will be available to answer questions.

The council, earlier in the week, is hosting a public information event on Monday, March 27, in Balla Community Resource Centre between 2 and 8 p.m. in relation to route options for the N60 Pollavaddy to Balla active travel scheme.

Again, drawings of the routes will be on display and staff from National Roads Office will be present to answer questions.

All interested parties are invited to attend the events.
