Modular classrooms approved for school at foot of Mayo's holy mountain

MURRISK National School is getting some welcome new facilities.

The school, at the foot of Croagh Patrick, has been grant-aided two modular classrooms – a special education teaching room and a mainstream classroom, en-suite.

Progress in delivering the facilities is being made with Mayo County Council granting planning permission for them.

The additional accommodation is urgently needed to service the current enrolment at the school, council planners were told.
